Sunfield is one of the few U.K. bases that regularly hosts TEACCH training in liaison with the University of North Carolina, USA. Courses take place each year and are run by a Director and Lead Trainer from the USA and supported by 3 UK TEACCH trainers from Sunfield and another UK based trainer.
The course is very intensive and alongside lectures, is taught in very hands on way working with youngsters who have autism.
At the end of the 5 day course, each delegate has a very comprehensive file to take away with them, a good knowledge of autism and the triad of impairment, together with a sound knowledge enabling them to set up and put in place individual structures, a certificate accredited by the University of North Carolina and contacts in case further support is needed in their workplace.

|This course is led by staff from the University of North Carolina, TEACCH Division, USA, working together with 4 trainers from the UK. This is a course for professionals working with youngsters with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder).
The course is both theoretical and practical enabling participants to work in small groups with autistic youngsters (fully supported by trainers) enabling theory to be put into practice.The course is accredited by the University of North Carolina, U.S.A.
