Jasper Carrott's “Christmas Crackers” are truly unique in that he keeps the bill a closely-guarded secret until the artists actually walk out onto the stage. Consequently, every act is a huge surprise to the audience and past Crackers have included Robert Plant, Sir Cliff Richard (on two occasions), Bill Bailey, Roger Daltrey, Robin Gibb, Chris De Burgh, Riverdance, Vanessa Mae and Victoria Beckham with her band. The bill for this year will be completely different and only Jasper will know who will be appearing.
Previous “Crackers” have always sold out within hours of going on sale even though no-one knows who’s on. A fantastic feat that demonstrates the public’s trust in Jasper Carrott to present a fabulous show – 12,500 people buying tickets for a show without knowing who will be on stage! Each act plays one short spot and offer their services free of charge in support of the charity.
The Cracker this year replaces the ever popular Jasper Carrott’s Rock With Laughter which has become a firm four night fixture in the local Christmas calendar.

Christmas 2008 welcomes the return of the legendary ‘Jasper Carrott’s Christmas Cracker’. The “Crackers” have taken place every three or four years since the early 90s, raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for charities such as the NSPCC, Turning Point and Birmingham Children’s Hospital. We are extremely privileged that this year Sunfield will be the principal benefiting charity, with proceeds going to our new school appeal.
Venue: LG Arena, NEC, Birmingham
Tickets: main show per person £29.50
plus £3 booking fee (book direct through NEC)

Sunfield Sunshine Week
Wherever you are in the country, you can help Sunfield's new school appeal by getting involved in Sunshine Week!
Below are just a few ideas. If you'd like more, just ring us for details.
- Ask your fellow pupils, teachers, friends or colleagues to wear something yellow or summery to work or school and donate £1 to take part. How about a challenge for the most innovative?
- Hold a coffee morning, lunch or garden party. Sell lemon marmalade, lemon cakes or yellow themed plants, jewellery or clothes.
- Have a yellow mufti day at your school.
- Collect all the family's loose change during Sunshine Week - it's amazing how it adds up!
- Ban a word such as "No" and then try to get your colleagues and family to say the word but fine them every time they use it!

DONATE YOUR UNWANTED MOBILE PHONES!
Sunfield is delighted to have teamed up with FoneAid to run a fundraising recycling campaign for unwanted mobile phones. For every phone donated, whatever age or model, Sunfield will receive from FoneAid £3 which will go towards our new school appeal
There is no time limit for donations.

This brilliant scheme will not only help Sunfield to raise much needed funds, it also ensures that as many old mobile phones as possible don't end up at landfill sites but are reused by growing economies across the globe where landline networks fail or are not available, and where mobile communications technology is most highly sought after.
