A team of 10 brave participants are set to take on The National Three Peaks Challenge on 24th June, for various local causes including Sunfield.

Richard Thomas, Lead Organiser said; ‘The date is set, the team is assembled, diets started and intensive training underway! The charities that we’ve selected mean something to us all in one way or another and we hope that the money we raise through our blood, sweat and tears will go someway to helping to make a difference.’

The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland, within 24 hours. The three mountains are: Snowdon, in Wales (1085m), Scafell Pike, in England (978m), Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m). To read more please see here:

Georgina Forrest, Sunfield’s Partnership Development Manager said; ‘A challenge like this is a mentally and physically draining one and it’s such an amazing thing to do, to train and set out to complete these hikes especially in under 24 hours. From all at Sunfield we wish the team the best of luck. We hope that the fact that their efforts will help enhance the lives of our students with complex needs, will help push them to the top of each mountain.’
