Lloyds Bank get green fingered to support Sunfield

Volunteering Lloyds BankA team of 17 employees from Lloyds Bank, regional office in Birmingham, took a day out of the office to kindly donate their time to Sunfield.

The group spent the day maintaining and pruning the large willow structures on site, in an area that the students use as part of their Creative Arts classes.

Diane Bloomer, Sunfield’s Creative Arts Team Worker said, ‘We were totally overwhelmed by the kindness of the Lloyds staff members, the fact that the majority of the maintenance work is now complete means we can focus on the intricate repair work and more importantly working with our students, who will also have a go at maintaining a small area of the structures later in the year.’

Volunteering Lloyds BankGeorgina Forrest, Sunfield’s Partnership Development Manager said, ‘We’d like to thank the Lloyds team for their dedicated time and energy given to the volunteering project, the work has saved us both valuable time and money and as a registered charity it really does make a difference us.’
