Musica 2015 was deemed a great success with musical acts across the weekend ranging from a local Pipe and Drum group to local children’s choirs to a Rod Stewart Tribute. The event was held in support of four charities including; Sunfield, Midlands Air Ambulance, The Royal British Legion and The Animal Sanctuary in Belbroughton.
The couple presented Sunfield with a donation of £1,000 which will go towards the schools Elm House Refurbishment Appeal. Elm House has been specifically designed for Sunfield’s 2:1 (adult: child) children. Funds will go towards the refurbishment and modernisation of the house, as well as the ‘kitting out’ with specialised furniture in order to make the house individualised to meet the specific needs of the children who will live and learn there.
Georgina Forrest, Sunfield’s Partnership Development Manager said, ‘Roger and Gaye have been faithful supporters of ours in recent years and have given a great amount of time and effort to host yet another entertaining event. The kind donation we have received means that we can continue to provide specialised and indiviudalised care and education for children with complex needs and their families.’
