It’s the lead up to that wonderful time of year again… Christmas.

When we think of Christmas we often plan to make it as special and magical as possible for the children around us. This year we’re asking you to think of our boys, girls and young people and to get involved.

In supporting children and young people, aged 6-19, with complex needs, we need specific items to enhance the care, education and therapies that we offer at Sunfield, as well as general support to be able to continue to provide a wide range of services for, not only our students, but their families as well.

How you can help…

Hold a Mince Pie Monday

On a Monday in December enjoy a mince pie sale at work, home or school. Don your apron and bake them or pop to the shops and fake them! Ask for a donation to Sunfield in return for a tasty mince pie. It’s as easy as pie!

Display one of our Christmas message posters

Ideal for the workplace, office or staff-room, display one of our posters where people can leave a Christmas message and make a small donation instead of sending Christmas cards to each other. Save time, resources and money and make a long-term difference to the lives of our students living and learning at Sunfield.

The Difference

All funds raised will help us to continue to provide a wide range of services, some examples are;

A donation of around £60 could help cover the cost of an overnight stay in one of our family centres, meaning that parents and families can spend some quality time with their son or daughter during the festive season.

We also need funds in order to purchase much needed items such as; communication aids – giving a voice to our non/pre-verbal students, sensory toys – aiding play, musical and occupational therapy sessions and play equipment – so that our younger students can learn, socialise and develop through play.

To get involved or for your fundraising pack please contact Georgina Forrest on 01562 882253.
