VIP evening with Josie Lawrence raises £3500 for Sunfield
A VIP evening at Birmingham Rep hosted by Black Country born actress Josie Lawrence has raised £3500 for Sunfield's new school appeal. Sunfield patron, Josie came up with the idea for the champagne reception at the theatre where she has been starring in the title role in Tom Stoppard's thriller, Hapgood.

The Old Hill born stage and TV star, along with fellow cast members, mingled with theatregoers after the curtain went down on the show on Monday, 21 April.
Josie said:
"It went really well, everyone seemed to really enjoy it."
All money raised from ticket sales from the VIP evening has been added to the new school appeal, and the Rep also donated profits from house tickets sales that evening.
Elizabeth Wood, marketing manager for Sunfield, said:
"Josie has been a tremendous support and was the mastermind behind the reception. We're very grateful to her and to Birmingham Repertory Theatre."
