Where Your Money Goes

Note in canSunfield is a registered charity and operates on a ‘not for profit’ basis. The fees charged to various local authorities across the UK, for each child they place at Sunfield, only cover the direct costs of the education, care and psychology/ therapy services we provide for that particular child, with a small percentage built in for management and overheads.

Sunfield has to rely on charitable donations to fund the vital development and improvement of our facilities, the purchasing of specialist items of equipment and vehicles, or any research undertaken. We therefore have an ongoing programme of improvements requiring charitable support.

Examples of previous projects include:

New school buildings and residential houses

Extensions and alterations to existing houses

Set up and staffing costs for our Family Services and Centres

Phil Fellows hands over donations to SunfieldEducational computers and networks in all classrooms and houses

The establishment of sensory resources and therapy rooms

New minibuses and vehicles

Playground areas

Research projects

Thank you for supporting Sunfield!
