Senior Occupational Therapist

Sunfield Childrens Home – Clent

Salary – £31,696 – £41,787 (equivalent to band 7 and dependent on qualifications and experience)

Position – 40 hours per week (permanent)

 

Sunfield Intro

Sunfield are looking for exceptional individual to join us as Senior Occupational Therapist.  Set within 58 acres of idyllic parkland, nestled on the slopes of the Clent Hills, we are an independent residential special school and charity who support young people, aged 6 – 19 years, with complex learning needs, including Autism and PDA.

Some of the main duties include:

  • To provide an effective and specialised Occupational Therapy (OT) service for children and Young People as directed by Head of Care and Therapies
  • To ensure all students EHCP OT needs are met, including their sensory integration needs
  • To provide specialist advice, training and support to the teams supporting each child and young person
  • To lead the evaluation and continued development of the Occupational Therapy Service
  • To provide a flexible service including spending 70% of their time in the care setting.
